1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, device identifiers, or anti-spam tokens.
2. How Crossroad uses cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, keep accounts secure, remember your choices, protect forms from spam, and, with your consent, understand how people use the site.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the website to work and cannot be disabled through our cookie settings:
- crossroad-session — keeps your session active and lets you stay logged in.
- XSRF-TOKEN — protects forms from cross-site request forgery.
- remember_web_* — used only if you choose "Remember me" at login.
- cookie_consent_v1 — remembers your cookie preference.
- Cloudflare Turnstile tokens — help verify that contact and registration forms are submitted by real users and not automated spam.
4. Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand site usage and improve the Service. If you do not consent, analytics cookies are not used for normal tracking and Google Consent Mode keeps analytics signals limited.
- _ga and _ga_* — help distinguish visits and sessions for Google Analytics.
- _gid and _gat — may be used by Google Analytics depending on configuration.
5. Marketing cookies
We do not currently use advertising, retargeting, or social media marketing cookies. If we introduce them later, we will ask for your consent where required.
6. Third-party services
Cookies or similar technologies may be set or processed by:
- Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — analytics, only according to your consent choices.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-spam and security checks for forms.
These providers may process data outside the UK, using appropriate safeguards where required.
7. Managing your choice
When you first visit the site, you can accept all cookies, choose settings, or keep only necessary cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.
8. Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the site such as login, forms, language selection, and security checks may not work correctly.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
10. Contact
If you have questions about cookies or privacy, use our contact form.
