Crossroad is intended only for adult users aged 18+. We apply a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual exploitation, involvement of minors, grooming, unlawful content, and any attempt to use the service to harm children.
1. Adults only
Registration and use of Crossroad are allowed only for people aged 18 or over. If we learn or suspect that an account belongs to a minor, we may restrict access, request checks, remove the account, and retain necessary safety records.
2. Prohibited content and behaviour
The following are strictly prohibited:
- sexual images, messages, or posts involving minors;
- attempts to communicate with minors through the service;
- grooming, exploitation, blackmail, coercion, or trafficking;
- links, hints, codes, offers, or materials connected with child exploitation;
- pretending to be a minor or trying to bypass age restrictions.
3. Reports and urgent concerns
Users can report profiles, photos, messages, and behaviour through site features or support. If a concern involves a risk to a child or unlawful content, contact us as soon as possible: support@crossroad.co.uk.
4. Review of messages and content
Where a report is made or there are signs of risk to children, we may review relevant messages, photos, profile information, posts, technical data, and activity history to assess the situation and take action.
5. Action we may take
We may remove content, reject photos, block features, temporarily restrict an account, delete an account without notice, prevent re-registration, preserve evidence, and share information with appropriate authorities or platforms where necessary.
6. Cooperation with authorities
In cases of serious risk, unlawful content, or possible harm to children, we may cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, app platforms, and specialist organisations where required or permitted by law.
7. Safety by design
We use age restrictions, profile and photo moderation, reports, blocking, safety logs, and limited administration access. We periodically review safety processes and update rules where needed.
